Tonight's show will feature sets by Nashville's The Civil Wars and White Sea, a solo project of Morgan Kibby (M83). The Civil Wars' characteristically Nashville sound is best described as indie folk with roots influences--a pleasant blend of classic and modern. On the other side of the spectrum is White Sea's cinematic dream pop, stylistically similar to Kibby's work in M83. Local Natives originated in Orange County, California…but don’t let that fool you. Their sound is distinctly Silver Lake, where they moved shortly after forming.
