Today the genius behind Chanel - Karl Lagerfield (pictured here with Ashley Olsen, Diane Kruger, and Lindsay Lohan) - announced that he has signed on to design a capsule collection for Macy's nationwide. Sure, the line won't be in stores until Fall 2011, but we're loving this massive movement that designers are taking part in - making designer inspired pieces available to everyone. So far, we've got Lanvin for H&M (which hit stores last Saturday), Valentino for Gap (launching this coming Saturday), Matthew Williamson for H&M, Rachel Roy's super-cute Macy's collection, Anna Sui for Target, and the sexy Jimmy Choo shoe line for H&M.
