Whether it’s thigh-high knitted socks, lacy knee highs, or last spring’s bike short under dresses/shorts/skirt trend, this new era of legwarmers are definitely making a comeback for Fall 2010.

As temperatures cool down, make that wardrobe evolution easy and effective.  First get yourself some bike shorts, we said it,  either lace ($40 by Only Hearts), mesh, or spandex, and pair them with denim cutoffs or a floral frock. For, a date night, rock some knee-high sheer socks ($14 at Urban Outfitters) with a pair of vintage boots and you’re good to go. Next, go for some thigh highs ($14 at Urban Outfitters, and no, not like a hooker) to jazz up that outfit and keep those stems warm for a night on the town. Coordinate with temperatures accordingly and you’re set for fall!

Limoncelli says she “aimed to create modern relics — durable pieces that pay homage to ageless standards of quality while offering a current perspective for a new generation of women.” And she’s done just that. Get yourself a custom-designed geometric mixed-metal ring (via her website) and you’ll easily take that ensemble to a whole new level of cool.

Newly single Rachel Bilson was out and about today in Los Feliz in a super feminine take on western wear. Copy this look: all you need is a Levi’s Denim Jacket ($68), a white short-sleeved v-neck ($19), a chiffon floral mini skirt ($34), and these Deena & Ozzy black booties ($78).

Mischa Barton looked leaner and meaner, rocking hot red skinny jeans, high-tops, and retro Ray-Ban’s, with a mystery man today at Coco de Mer ”Erotic Boutique” in London. Wonder what her purchases were…? Afraid we don’t know. But, we do know where you can get her sunglasses and jeans.

WTF? Diane Kruger (gorgeous German, superbly talented actress) and Joshua Jackson (credits limited to Dawson’s Creek and Cruel Intentions -we can’t think of anything else???); two people you would NEVER expect to be in the same room, are oddly enough one of the cutest celebrity couples ever (seen here at The Grove in Hollywood, today). Linda Farrow was the go-to-gal for stellar sunglasses in the ’70s, (of such magnitude that Yoko Ono was her number one client). The ’90s came and the shades vanished (as all fashion trends come to an end at some point).  But, some do resurface in later years and Linda Farrow’s shades have undoubtedly done just that in a big way for good reason.

In 2003, Farrow’s son Simon Jablon found a hidden catalogue of over 2000 vintage styles in the family’s Islington, London warehouse. What was a fellow to do with such vast unseen beauty? Mass produce and sell it, of course. Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen, the new face of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’ Material Girl clothing line, was spotted today doing a promo shoot for the line in New York. ‘I’m psyched,’ said Taylor, as Madonna took charge of the camera and snapped away.

The17-year-old, who is currently taking a break from Gossip Girl to tour with her band The Pretty Reckless, looked sultry as she posed in a variety of  ensembles from the line.

The Material Girl collection, consisting of clothes, footwear, handbags, jewelery and accessories, will debut next month at Macy’s in New York and will be available in Macy’s stores across the U.S.

What’s with this weather? Gloomy, dark skies in LA during the month of July, really?
