Republique is All the Rage

Restaurants vying to be the next big thing pop up all the time in Los Angeles and rarely do they ever come close. République is different.

Brought to you by Chef Walter Manzke (also behind hot-spots Patina, Bastide and Church & State), the interior of this French bistro is so spectacular, you’ll feel as if you transported to a magical city. Much like a chic Parisian woman with that “je ne sais quoi”, the vibe of République is all quality without the flash. All guests can peer into the open kitchen with a large wood-burning oven, however if you’re lucky enough to snag the hottest seats in the restaurant, you will be sitting front-row, at the chefs counter.

Named after one of the largest stops on the Paris Métro, this new kid on the block (République opened in November) boasts an impressive French-rooted menu that includes pecan sticky buns or flaky croissants for those popping in for breakfast. Or try the roasted cauliflower, garlicky escargots and côte de porc for dinner for true French fare.

République is open Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, Monday-Wednesday 6pm-10pm and Thursday-Sunday 6pm-11pm.
