Outdoor Concerts You Can’t Miss!

Technically we’re coming up on the end of summer but this is nothing to worried about because A: We live in L.A. and the warm weather isn’t going anywhere too quickly, B: Fall fashion, and C: There are SO many amazing outdoor concerts still to see before the season ends. Here are our must-sees listed in chronological order…plan accordingly.

Local Natives - Our favorite native-LA indie band turned superstars are playing at the Greek Theatre on Friday September 13, 8 PM. You have to love a male infused pop rock band who is repeatedly heralded for their ability to “groove”. Tickets on StubHub.

The Weeknd – We’ve loved this Canadian producer since he snuck into the music scene posting his songs on Youtube without his identity, so don’t let the chance to see him live slide by. His falsetto R&B  is so smooth, emotional, and hard hitting it feels like it was made for the arena. He will be performing September 17th at 730pm, at the Greek Theatre. Tickets available on Ticketmaster.

M83 - The French electronic band will be performing Sunday September 22nd at the Hollywood Bowl, 7 pm. Tickets on Ticketmaster are selling between $17 and $151. Prepare for the ambient pop experience by re-visiting their mega hits like “Midnight City”.

The Lumineers – Everyone loves a little bit of hip folk rock music! The live and upbeat acoustic act of the Lumineers is both simple in instrument choice and expansive in what they make with them. The perfect outdoor music experience. The Denver based group will be in L.A. Friday September 27th at 730 at the Greek Theatre. Tickets on Ticketmaster.

The XX – We’re pretty mush obsessed with the XX’s consistently haunting indie pop sound and they are known to give an electric live performance.  Tickets are on Ticketmaster for their L.A. appearance Sunday September 29th at the Hollywood Bowl,  7pm.

Passion Pit - They’re named after a slang term for the drive in, so they know a thing or two about outdoor enjoyment. Catch the Massachusetts indie pop group towards the beginning of their fall tour on Friday October  25th at 730 at the wonderfully outdoors Greek Theatre. Tickets on Ticketmaster.

Two Door Cinema Club – If “Something Good Can Work” isn’t your inspiring jam song for life, it should be. The Northern Irish indie rock/dance band will be in town November 2nd 8pm at the Greek Theatre. Expect inspired and energetic sing-alongs. Tickets on Ticketmaster.
