If you’ve slept, here are ticket links: Friday 8/17 (support from Chiddy Bang), Saturday 8/18 (support from Charli XCX) & Sunday 8/19 (support from Fool’s Gold).
8/24 – Cults at MOCA
Cults will headline PLAY MOCA, a “collaborative multimedia festival” celebrating LA’s diversity and vitality. General public tickets for the event will go on sale on 8/17. Click here to view more information about the event, see who else is playing and purchase tickets when they’re available.
8/29 – Poolside at the Echo
We introduced you to the relaxing sounds of Poolside recently, and on August 29th you’ll get a chance to see them live when they headline the Echo. Tickets are only $10, and support comes from Pharaohs. As a refresher, re-visit our older post to get acclimated to their sound.
8/31 – Jon Brion at the Largo
Every month, Jon Brion headlines a night at the wonderful Largo, one of the best tiny venues in the LA area. He’ll cap off this month with a slot on Friday August 31st. If you weren’t aware, Brion’s penned the official score for a number of notable films, including Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love, I <3 Huckabees, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, as well as producing a number of high-profile albums from A-list musical acts. All this to say – don’t miss out on catching him at the Largo.
