Longing for that free-spirited, adrenaline-pumping music experience known as Coachella? Luckily there’s a festival right here in downtown LA that’ll give you one more infusion of summer music! The lineup for this year’s FYF Fest 2012 was detailed this morning, and we’re pumped.
Set for Labor Day weekend (September 1-2), this year’s FYF has expanded to two days and features a very impressive lineup. We’re particularly jazzed about the following: Beirut, M83, Sleigh Bells, the Growlers, Chromatics, Atlas Sound, White Arrows, Cursive, Warpaint, and Yeasayer, but the rest of the lineup is great too.
Refused, Quicksand, James Blake, Dinosaur Jr., Fucked Up, Against Me!, Turbonegro, American Nightmare, Twin Shadows, Liars, Converge, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Future Islands, and the Vaselines are also taking part in the fun – but there’s even more! Take a look for yourself:
Last year’s FYF was a blast, and with a two-day lineup – this year’s looks poised to be even more of a good time. Tickets for the weekend will go on sale this Friday, June 19th at 5 PM, and will cost you $77 (but remember that’s for 2 days!). Stay glued to the FYF website for more.
