Just like the perfect drink, Nightcap Clothing is the ideal way to begin (and end) any evening. The brainchild of Los Angeles fashion designer Carisa Brambles, Nightcap was founded in 2006 and mixes elements of the seductive boudoir with edgy street wear, resulting in something one would wear if they were to hit the streets for a “potion of spirit drank at bedtime.”

Originally designed as a line of indulgent loungewear, Nightcap Clothing has transformed into a contemporary collection that includes everything from cashmere to beach cover-ups to red carpet-worthy cocktail dresses and has been seen on the likes of Hollywood starlets such as Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Minnillo and Kristin Cavallari, to name drop a few.

“As I float through the darkness emerging from a crack of light to the shores of bliss, I am left to dream and dance through the wings of a ghost.” These are the words of inspiration that are calmly whispered in a voiceover for Nightcap’s Spring 2012 editorial video, which looks like a scene straight out of a French indie film.

A few highlights from the current “Native of the West” collection include beachy bohemian pieces like the Tribal Fringe Gown ($385) and the Sunset Tube Dress ($143), along with surf-inspired threads such as the Diamond Crochet Bodysuit ($176) for the sun goddess within, as well as the Baja Tunic ($330), perfect for those cool evenings spent along the coast. We’re also loving these dressier classic Nightcap options for a night on the town:Cap Sleeve V-Neck ($330), Priscilla Backless Dress ($264),Metallic Cheetah Dress ($278) &Deep V Victorian Dress ($352).

Nightcap also has a men’s wear line, perfect for your partner-in-crime for one of those Bonnie and Clyde nights on the town. To shop for pieces from past seasons and to pre-order from the current collection, check out Nightcap Clothing’s official website.
