Don’t let the name fool you, The Brentwood Country Mart is anything but country. Sure the facade is a red barn, but the stores you’ll find inside rival any street in the 90210.

This open air shopping experience has answered many Westside prayers, by taking their shopping experience up a notch from the new(er) touristy Santa Monica Place. This barn-esque shopping oasis is the place to get all your designer duds, eat, get your shoes fixed, go to the barber shop and they even have a country store, who knew!

Now for the real deal, can anyone say Intermix? Thakoon, Missoni, Equipment oh my! Let’s face it, Intermix is one of the hottest stores right now and we don’t see any signs of that stopping. With the online store craze with sites like ShopBop and Revolve owning a large part of the fashionista market, we love the fact that Intermix is stepping it up a notch, going that one step further and opening multiple stores in this area (stay tuned for Beverly Hills coming soon). Boho chic? Designer Jenni Kayne certainly can’t think of anything! She is calling this her newest home and adding her super-chic, easy-going sportswear into the fantastic mix of stores. Jenni, a California native gets the easy breezy styles that we crave.

And we can’t forget to mention that Calypso, Malia Mills, Broken English and James Perse reside here too. Looks like they are all in good company.

While Robertson and Melrose may still be the best known iconic shopping go-to’s, especially if you want to be seen, some of LA’s top shopping divas are actually crossing the 405 (gasp). So go on, get over there and get your shop on!
