Minx Society had a fabulous time at nightlife impresario Brent Bolthouse’s (SLS’ Bazaar, Hyde) opening for Trousdale last night. Trousdale, located at the former “Blowfish Sushi,” is as hip as they come. A modern appeal swathes the space with a semi-17th century baroque vibe: in the main room – marble pillars, exposed black-painted pipes, splashes of gold and silver throughout, a massive chandelier and sexy booths that line the perimeter, and in the back room – a pool table, Andy Warhol’s famed rifle painting, and Phillipe Starck’s famed acrylic furniture.

To drink, we suggest the simply divine rose-water air and agave margarita. To eat, treat yourself to the Gruyere grilled cheeses. Get very, very excited: “In my mind, Trousdale will be similar to what we did with Hyde,” Bolthouse said. Open on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday: see and be seen, my friends.
